Saturday the Station was bustling with excitement as we hosted the Silver Spring Township Shop with a Cop Program. This was a great collaboration between multiple law enforcement agencies, school staff members, and local government. The program continues from year to year because of numerous donations that come together to make a better Christmas for many kids and their families that otherwise may not. The fire company makes breakfast for everyone, offers time to see the rigs, then they headed off by escort to the Mechanicsburg Walmart; they then return to the Station for gift wrapping and donated lunch!! It was another great event; we are extremely grateful to host the event each year!!
