Warming Station - Monday 1/20 8am through Wednesday 1/22.
A warming station will be open at 08:00am Monday January 20th and will extend through Wednesday at the Silver Spring Community Fire Company Banquet Center located at 6471 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg. The shelter will provide the ability to get out of the cold, restroom facilities and ability to charge essential items. Please bring any medications, snacks or items needed for a couple day stay.
Parking will be in the banquet center lot and the main doors will be open to access. Staff will periodically check in throughout the day and any immediate needs can be forwarded to the Director of Public Safety @ 717-512-4476.
There will be staff on station pending there are no emergency calls, so they will also be available to assist with your needs.
