At 11:39, the Township Companies were sent to the area of MM54.6 for a tractor trailer fire. County advised C33 of the truck disconnected from the trailer. Squad 31 arrived with fire evident. C33/E33 arrived with the Engine crew advancing one bumper line making a quick knock on the fire involving both driver’s side axles tires. T33 staged in the crossover. With the fire knocked quickly, Command held E33 and Sq31 and Fire Police. Crews insure the fire was out then cleared in just 22 minutes after arrival. Both southbound lanes were closed while crews operated.
