Recently, three members received their "leathers" after they successfully completed Firefighter 1certification. Leather fire helmets are a true fire service tradition and we carry this tradition on as a thank you for reaching this training milestone. Over the years, the leather fire helmet has seen a drastic increase in pricing; thankfully the purchase is able to be funded through the firefighters relief association in order to continue this tradition.
