After a long week of apparatus "detailing" and then the "all-nighter" for the Barn Fire, followed by that cleanup, we were able to make it "just in time" to be judged and then participate in the parade. Engine, Squad, Tanker, Mini, Traffic, Utility 1, All Three Chief's Vehicles, and the Ladies Auxiliary Fire Prevention Float attended. The men and women should be proud of our accomplishments and the pride that shows strong within the company!! The last "county" convention attended was in 2013 so many of our "newer" folks had no idea the time and commitment it took getting ready for a parade and judging; while the rigs are always in top shape, there was even more attention to detail applied to the rigs this week. Congratulations to all of the award winners and thanks to Northeast Fire & Rescue for bringing back some friendly competition that we all really needed! Congratulations as well on 100 years of service to your community!!
