Early Saturday evening, Squad 33 (6) was sent for the Garage Fire to assist Upper Allen Township. Just as the crew set up on Side A, a firefighter needed assistance in the driveway after a flash of fire occurred in the garage. RIT assisted the firefighter to the yard and quickly doffed gear. EMS took patient care right away. It appeared there were no injuries and more of exhaustion. RIT monitored operations for the remainder of the event until released. E33 was also on the incident bringing total RIT to 8 personnel. Thanks to Grantville for providing staffing for the day and to Fairview Township R68 for transferring to Station 33.
