After being classes were delayed for completing Interior Firefighting due to the extreme temperatures last month, these men completed their training tonight at HACC. Congratulations goes out to Live-In FF Oka, FF Yohn, and Jr FF Perales. FF Oka joined the NKFC on February 6th and FF Yohn joined on March 5th-both these men dedicated a tremendous amount of time to state certified training to get them to their interior certification. Jr. FF Perales, as a 17-year old, completed the interior program under Act 155, with parent approval, but will have to wait a few short months until he turns 18 to gain his "official" interior front. We are very proud of these men and look for more great things out of them as they continue to develop as interior firefighters!
