Squad and Tanker 33 responded to assist Monroe Fire with a reported house fire on Monday morning. Upon arrival, Engine 225 observed smoke coming from the rear of the residence and deployed a hose line. Firefighters from Engine 336 and Squad 33 worked together to operate the hose on an exterior fire against the home. The crew from Engine 241 conducted a search inside the residence, while Ladder 36 provided ventilation to improve safety conditions. Tanker 33 supplied additional water to Engine 225 during the incident. The situation was brought under control, and all crews remained on scene for approximately one hour.
