Squad, Chief, Chief 2, and Traffic assisted Monroe Fire with a collision involving a pole that was sheared off in the 1400 block of West Trindle Road on Sunday morning. Crews arrived to find one person injured at the scene. Responders determined that the downed wires were phone lines and safely removed both the wires and the damaged pole. Units remained on scene for approximately 30 minutes.
