At 07:27, Squad 33 responded with five members for rapid intervention team duties at a house fire in North Middleton Township on West Trindle Road. While arriving on scene, an accident was dispatched at mile marker 50.6 on Interstate 81 northbound. Squad 33 was released to respond to the accident at 07:39. Chief 7 received information that someone might be pinned in the accident. Engine 33, staffed with three members, responded from Station 33. Squad 33 arrived to find a single pickup truck with a trailer off the road and into trees, with the driver confined inside. Extrication was completed at 07:48 and Chief 7 placed Engine 33 available. Units cleared the scene at 08:12. Utility 133 has responded to one medical assist this morning.
