Shortly after 07:00 the Township Companies were sent to the 6500 blk of Carlisle Pike for a garbage truck on fire impinging on a building. E33, T33, and Traffic 33 responded. E33 took the hydrant with 31’s layout while the Engine crew jumped on Squad 31. Crews had a well involved garbage truck with a CNG tank (believed to have vented just prior to arrival). Crews operated multiple hand lines during the operation. Mutual Aid Partners assisted where needed at the scene and investigating inside the building. Crews were on scene several hours.
