Mini, Engine, Chief, and Chief 233 responded Sunday afternoon to the first block of Ridge Dr in Middlesex Township for a Grass Fire. Brush 41 and T41 were also summoned. C7 arrived on scene and held Co. 33. Crews used 200 ft of line off Mp33 to extinguish the fire and overhaul area. Crews were on scene about 1 hour; the fire spread from a controlled burn into beds of pine needles which required extensive overhaul. Thanks to Dustin Weese for pictures. This call ended the weekend with Co. 33 responding to 7 calls since Friday afternoon. Calls included a fire alarm, CO detector, 2 medical assists, RIT call, and an appliance fire.
