Wednesday, May 1st started with 4 calls between 0800 and Noon. Squad 33 was dispatched to transfer to York County Station 68-3. While enroute, an accident was sent at Rich Valley Rd and Valley View Dr. The Squad was just at Rich Valley and Carlisle Pike and responded to the accident. MP33 and Traffic 33 responded from the Station. While returning, another accident was sent on the Harrisburg Pike at Cook Dr. All units responded and C33 advised County to call York and tell them we were not available for the transfer. Crews arrived with two vehicles involved and minor injuries. Crews were on scene about 30 mins. Just before lunch, Engine, Tanker, and Chief 33 responded to I81 SB MM50 for truck brakes on fire. Chief 49 was in the area and arrived quickly reporting no fire just an overheated hub. This response was held to E33 and C33. Crews checked the area and cleared releasing the incident to the truck driver.
